The Green Parents Network was founded by the Richmond Environment Network and some local mums,  as a welcoming place in the area for parents interested in protecting the environment and green living.

It's an ideal opportunity to share tips, learn stuff, meet new people
and have fun! 

This site also provides some local tips and information on green parenting.In green living, as with anything else, what's easy for one person is much harder, or simply irrelevant, from someone else's point of view. So take-away what's useful for you.

Do you enjoy meeting like minded people?

Through this network you could meet like minded local parents in the Twickenham and Richmond area who are interested in issues that concern you.

We meet monthly for coffee, tea, cake, or lunch at a suitably child friendly venue.

 The group has all sorts of people doing all sorts of different things including:

• converting our homes to be energy efficient
• cycling, using public transport and walking
• reducing our waste
• taking lower emission holidays 
• buying second hand and more ethical goods
• using real nappies and eco-disposables
• eating locally produced foods and organic foods

We are especially interested in consuming more of Twickenham Fine Ale– although kegs are quite large so we do need more people to have a large enough party to justify –please help.
